Listeria monocytogenes is extremely widespread in soil, water, and livestock environments, so it is simply a matter of time before the pathogen enters a specific factory. Once it is in a production environment, there is a real danger of the Listeria monocytogenes establishing itself as a permanent resident, due to its tolerance to high salt concentrations and temperatures as low as 4°C, resulting in Listeriosis outbreaks.
The N-Light™ Listeria Rapid Test is the optimal tool for you to “seek and destroy” Listeria monocytogenes in the environment. It consistently demonstrates superior sensitivity and specificity, compared to the chromogenic competition, in the detection of the pathogen, with actionable results after 24h. The performance of the N-Light™ Listeria Rapid Test has also been evaluated in the AOAC Performance Tested MethodsSM Program and has been found to perform as stated by NEMIS. It is also validated against ISO 11290-1:2017.
