Idex – Coned Fittings – LiteTouch® Fittings

Our LiteTouch Fittings are specifically designed to effectively grip tubing at two compression points, holding to high pressures with Fingertight convenience. It also prevents polymer tubing from twisting, a potential problem when using standard Fingertight fittings. LiteTouch Fittings are available for use with 1/32 inches, 1/16 inches, or 1/8 inches outer diameter tubing sizes, and for 10-32 or 1/4-28 coned ports. To avoid collapsing the inner diameter of your tubing, the LiteTouch system can be used on hard tubing only, such as stainless steel and PEEK polymer tubing. The LiteTouch Ferrule System is not recommended for repeated use in plastic ports.

LiteTouch Ferrules are specifically designed to help prevent polymer tubing from twisting during the tightening process. Our ferrule has a durable stainless steel lock ring which ensures that the it stays in place on the tubing when the fitting system is loosened from its receiving port. It is designed for 1/16 inches outer diameter tubing and has a 1-32 Coned Thread Port Configuration. It comes in natural color and is also available in a pack of 10 units.

Our LiteTouch Nut part of a system that helps prevent the twisting of polymer tubing by gripping tubing at two compression points. Our LiteTouch system can be used for hard tubing like stainless steel and PEEK, preventing the collapse of tubing inner diameter. This PEEK, Short Nut is designed for 1/8 inches outer diameter tubing. This Nut comes in blue, black, green, gray and natural.
