Idex – Bottle Caps and Plugs – Bottle Cap Plugs
As an alternative to our Bottle Caps try our Bottle Cap Plugs in the extra hole. The 20µm stainless frit in these plugs prevents foreign matter from contaminating the solvent while leaving the bottle open to the atmosphere. This allows fluid to be pulled out without creating a vacuum (generally not used with sparging applications).

Our bottle caps and plugs offer an inexpensive and extremely simple solution. Our bottle caps are manufactured of inert Tefzel® (the white, inner part) and polypropylene (the colored, outer part), and they fit the standard GL-45 and smaller-neck GL-38 bottles. They are pressure rated at 15 psi.
