The CM 290 CemotecTM laboratory mill is ideal for preparation of grain and seed samples without loss of moisture for NIR or reference analysis. Safety is in focus and a modern design allows easy operation and maintenance.

Specially designed to grind grain and seed samples without loss of moisture making it ideal for NIR and reference analysis. Cemotec is excellent for all types of sample preparation with moderate requirements for fineness and uniformity of particle size. The large sample bottle makes it possible to collect up to 350ml of ground sample.
Safe and easy operation
Innovative design ensures safe operations. A safety switch prevents accidental operation of the mill when the lid is removed, while a handy dial is used to control the fineness of the grist. Effective sample collection ensures dust free milling.
Quiet and efficient
Cemotec works effectively at a relatively low grind rate. Grinding with a low speed makes it possible to perform sample milling at a low noise level.

Technology
Works on the principle of grinding between two discs, one stationary and one turning. The sample is introduced at the centre of the stationary disc and is crushed between the discs. The distance between the discs is easily adjusted.

Cyclotec provides rapid and convenient sample preparation for NIR and reference analysis and is excellent for all types of sample preparation when fineness and uniformity of particle size is essential. The self cleaning action enables whole series of samples to be ground with minimal cross contamination.

Dust collection options such as dust pads and external vacuum connection ensure dust free milling. The large sample bottle makes it possible to collect up to 350ml of ground sample.

Technology
Grinds samples by a high speed action, rolling the sample against the inner circumference of a durable grinding surface and then passes it through a fine mesh screen. The high volume air flow provides self cleaning action, enabling whole series of samples to be ground with minimal cross contamination.

The KN 295 KnifetecTM laboratory mill is ideal for preparation of high fat, high moisture and fibrous samples prior to analysis, such as oilseeds, prepared foods, meat products, fruit, vegetables, grains, seeds and feed.
Fast sample preparation
A high speed rotor ensures rapid sample preparation from two to ten seconds, preparing up to 200ml of sample in one go. Timer control ensures reproducible sample preparation time after time.
Easy and safe to operate
The modern design ensures easy operation. A removable sample bowl with lid makes sample handling easy, while a safety switch prevents accidental operation of the mill when the lid is removed. Knifetec can be operated single handed.

A robust design makes Knifetec easy to maintain and clean between samples with a water cooled grinding chamber that protects heat sensitive high fat samples.
