Tecan – Microplate Washer – HydroSpeed™
The HydroSpeed is Tecan’s advanced plate washer, designed for quick, parallel washing of entire 96- and 384-well plates. This avoids time differences between the wells for uniform results. In addition, the HydroSpeed provides full control of wash power for optimized washing of cells, beads and ELISAs.
Featuring an integrated 5.7-inch touchscreen display for on-board operation and a universal 96i wash head, this instrument is well suited for ELISA- and cell-washing in 96- and 384-well plate formats. For fast washing, an entire 96-well plate can be processed in parallel. For additional flexibility, the same wash head can also be used to process 384-well plates in four quadrants. This configuration includes two inlet channels with automated buffer switching, as well as an Anti-Clogging™ function to prevent blockage of the wash head. For intense cleaning the wash head can be placed in an external lab ultrasonic bath.
