Ebro – Infrared Thermometers – TFI 260
The TFI 260 is perfect for fast food inspection of food. The bright background lighting of the display makes it possible to read the measured values even in the dark. The antislip handle and trigger for the measurement are optimal for the application.
Portability and rapidity are the two most important features of the infrared thermometer TFI 260 by ebro®. In less than one second, the device measures the surface temperature of objects or goods – for example food – within a measuring range of -60 °C to +550 °C. Direct contact is not necessary, so the hand-held device can obtain exact results even from a distance. The infrared thermometer is therefore ideal for fast and smooth checks of incoming and outgoing goods, and is suitable for other applications.
Easy Handling
An 8-point laser pointer arranged in a circle is aimed at the respective object, taking the measurement. All the relevant data appear on a screen with a brightly-lit background, so that the measurements can easily be read in a dark environment. The practical handle, the trigger button for the measurement and the light weight of 179 g including batteries ensure comfortable and stress-free work evenover prolonged periods of time or in difficult positions.
Areas of Application of the Infrared Thermometer TFI 260
The infrared thermometer TFI 260 has proven to be especially valuable in the handling of food: in the receipt of goods, in the kitchen, for serving meals or to check frozen products in freezing warehouses. The touch-free measuring protects the goods from contamination, so that it is always possible to work in a hygienic environment.
The TFI 260 can naturally also be used for other applications, as in the measurement of surface temperatures in areas that are hazardous or difficult to access. A temperature deviating from its normal condition is often indicative of deeper issues, so a measurement is a first step to detecting any defects which can then be remedied with other measures. With the TFI 260 , you receive a hand-held device that guarantees reliable readings within a wide temperature spectrum despite the distance from the object.
Other Properties of the TFI 260
The hand-held device is operated by 2 x AAA micro batteries or corresponding rechargeable batteries. Its service life amounts to around 7 hours in case of prolonged use. Every TFI 260 is factory-calibrated and delivered with a respective certificate. The housing is made of durable ABS.
