The THS line features the cross movement of the column carrying the milling head. The THS can be configured in various applications from 3 to 5 axis and pallet changers. Due to its particular structure, it can be applied both to high speed machining and to heavy duty machining.

The THS-X-TILT is a high-dynamic rigidity horizontal machining center developed by Parpas. It is designed for machining complex geometries in materials such as steel, nickel-based alloys, titanium alloys, and aluminum. Widely used in the aerospace industry, it is ideal for manufacturing rotating components like engine casings and blisks. Additionally, it supports five-face and five-axis machining for general mechanical processing. With its high performance, the machine is suitable for roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing operations.

Key Features

The tilting milling head can be equipped with either a high-torque mechanical spindle or a high-speed electric spindle based on user requirements. The rotary table is available in various sizes and shapes, all driven by torque motors, enabling high rotational speeds and interpolation rates. The THS-X-TILT machine can also be customized with different accessories, such as a pallet exchange system and tool magazines with varying capacities, to maximize productivity.
