MicroSnap™ is a rapid bioluminogenic test method for the detection and enumeration of bacteria, delivering results in less than 8 hours. Unlike traditional methods that rely on colony counting, MicroSnap™ technology derives equivalent CFU (Colony Forming Units) values using light detection. The system consists of an Enrichment Device containing a specific growth medium and a Detection Device with a light-producing substrate. When MicroSnap™ detects the specific microorganism, light is emitted and measured by Hygiena’s EnSURE™ luminometer. The measurements are displayed in Relative Light Units (RLU’s) that correlated to the colony forming units (CFU’s)
