The ST-35 is a mid-size big-bore lathe with a generous 533 x 660 mm maximum capacity, a 102 mm bore, and a 527 mm swing over the cross slide. The spindle turns to 3 200 rpm, and the 29,8 kW vector drive system provides 576 Nm of cutting torque. A 305 mm hydraulic chucking system and 12-station turret are standard.

The ST-35Y has a 457 x 584 mm maximum capacity, and adds 101 mm of Y-axis travel (±51 mm from the centerline) for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping. It comes standard with 6 000-rpm live tooling and a servo-driven C axis for versatile 4-axis capability. Both machines are available with a 2-speed gear-drive spindle that yields 1400 ft-lb of cutting torque, and spins to 2400 rpm.

CNC Lathe with Y Axis; 18″ x 23″ (457 x 584 mm) max capacity, 4.0″ (102 mm) bar, 31.75″ (806 mm) swing, ±2.00″ (±50.8 mm) Y-axis travel, 40 hp (29.8 kW) vector drive, 3200 rpm, A2-8 spindle, 12″ (305 mm) chuck, 12-station hybrid turret (6 VDI/6 BOT), high-torque live tooling w/C axis, 15″ color LCD monitor, memory lock keyswitch, spindle orientation, USB port and rigid tapping. Standard toolholder kit included with Hybrid turret. The Haas Bar Feeder is not compatible with the optional gear-drive spindle.
