Levelling Machine (Straightening Machine)
Full range of flattening and straightening machines, the best solution to avoid any problems in the manufacturing process of the coil: cutting, profiling, molding and shearing. The sheets outputs from rolling lines often have defects due to lack of planarity. They cause difficulties for subsequent processing and affect the processes downstream, causing costly delays in production.
The levelling machines remove any possible sheets curvature or waviness, reducing costs and problems to the customers. These machines are multi-cylindrical and submit the materials to “alternate plastic deformations”. The diameter and the distance between centers of the rollers are essentials for the perfect results of levelling in function of the thickness and type of material to be processed.
The lower rollers are motorized with transmission systems appropriately designed for this kind of process. The upper rollers press down the sheets.
How Does It Work?
Leveling (Straightening) machine remove any kind of curvature and undulations of the sheet metal. The levelling are machines that create a plastic deformation process alternating through motorized rollers. Usually are recommended more rollers in case of small thickness and less for thicker sheets metal.
Each machine has a suitable configuration for thickness and type of material to be processed. All the rollers are made of hardened steel, in order to obtain the maximum duration with any kind of sheet metal. The upper rollers are independent each other in order to allow to work with different pressures depending on the deformation of the sheet.
In order to obtain a complete planarity, must be a perfect combine between number of rollers, the distance between their centers and their diameter.
Thanks to the innovative electronic control system the levelling you can digit different parameters or start new working cycle by invoking a stored setting.
After you set thickness, width and materials the system calculates the working parameters on the basis of the desired result.
The range of machines guarantee working width from 1000 to 3000 mm and thickness from 0,5 to 60 mm.
