Single, XY Autochanger, Carousel, Automation, Mapping-Stage
The S2 PUMA Series 2 with a single-position manual loading enjoys the same technical benefits as the XY Autochanger and the Carousel. The mapping-stage makes multi-spot quality monitoring an easy task. The Automation delivers results on elemental analysis 24/7. The instrument can be connected either via conveyer belt or robot arm link-up to the preparation module.
HighSense Detectors
The new HighSenseTM and HighSenseTM LE detectors bring the latest Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) generation to the S2 PUMA Series 2. The detectors are equipped with a fast 8k multi-channel analyzer (MCA) for ultra-high count rates and excellent energy resolution.
Touch Control
The TouchControl user interface enables users with only minimal training to run routine measurements. The tiles on main screen make important functions easily available while restricting access to instrument configuration and calibrations.
SampleCare
SampleCare™ is a unique multi-layer system to protect vital instrument components from contamination. It protects the X-ray tube and the detector from spillage of liquid samples, from particles of solid samples, and from dust.
