    Eluent Delivery

    The UHPLC Pump P 6.1L with LPG configuration has a new LPG valve for precise mixing efficiency of up to four eluents at up to 1000 bar. The integrated degasser prevents air bubbles in the system. A mixing chamber is mounted on each Pump P 6.1L. This can be adapted to the respective application as required.

    Sample Injection

    The Autosampler 6.1L can inject 0.1 – 5000 µl to have a large flexibility. Using standard vials or two microtiter plates will give you a maximum sample capacity of up to 768 samples or 108 vials. The UHPLC version can be used up to 1240 bar system backpressure.

    Column Thermostating

    The Column thermostat CT 2.1 is suitable for column thermostatization above and below room temperature. The instrument operates with a microprocessor controlled Peltier element for exact temperature settings.

    The Preparative Pump 80P delivers stable and precise solvent flow for semi-preparative as well as preparative HPLC applications. By adding one or more additional pumps, binary, ternary or even quaternary high-pressure gradient systems can be easily configured. The pump can also be equipped with a binary or ternary gradient valve block to configure cost-effective low-pressure gradient systems. Exchangeable pump heads for flow rates up to 1 000 ml/min and pressures up to 40 MPa make it possible to easily optimize the pump to changing performance requirements and allow simple maintenance. Available in stainless steel or biocompatible titanium versions, the pump heads enable a wide range of applications.

    The Impingement Jets Mixing (IJM) Large Production Scale Units for high flow production of nanoparticles (LNP, microemulsions, etc.) can be configured with up to eight parallel mixing units depending on the customer requirements. Each unit consists of two pumps to deliver lipid and API streams, two flowmeters for flow control, and one jet mixer.

    Depending on the configuration, the predilution of the API and quenching can be performed for the combined flow of all units in one process step outside the Impingement Jets Mixing (IJM) Production Scale Unit.

    The number of parallel units depends on the application. Also, the number of pumps, flowmeters, jets mixers, and pipes can be adapted to the required conditions and scale. All skids are built in a stainless steel frame on casters and are suitable for CIP cleaning procedures in pharmaceutical production.

    KNAUER freezing point osmometer K-7400S allows the easy and fast determination of the osmolality of various aqueous solutions. Also, the freezing point depression of the samples can be read. The proven technology of freezing point determination in combination with the robust and intelligent design of the device allows reproducible measurements. The instrument is equipped with a peltier cooler and an integrated microprocessor controlling the automated measurement. The freezing point osmometer is a standalone device that optionally can be equipped with a printer. Furthermore, the device can be controlled via the EuroOsmo 7400 software. The software automatically plots the temperature curve for each measurement and calibration and allows saving of the measured values. In addition, the data can optionally be exported into various file formats for archival storage.

    The measurement specifications of the KNAUER Semi-Micro Osmometer K-7400S comply with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for osmolality (Ph. Eur. 2.2.35, 10/2021) in the pharmaceutically relevant range of 0-400 mOsmol/kg.

    This AZURA SMB pilot system is dedicated for the continuous production of API´s. The System allows the continuous separation of mixtures of substances and extraction into two fractions. High purities and simultaneous yields of up to 100% distinguish this process from conventional preparative LC methods.
