    The NANO-flex® II 180° DLS system measures particle size distributions of suspensions and emulsions in the range of 0.3 nm to 10 μm and concentrations up to 40 % by volume. The principle of heterodyne 180° backscattering applied here is characterized by its high selectivity in the nm range and a very high resolution; it is also suitable for samples with a wide or multi-modal size distribution. Due to the low penetration depth of the laser light, samples of high concentration are measured without disturbing multiple scattering. Compared to cuvette based systems, many samples can be measured without dilution in original concentration. The dip-in probe used in the NANO-flex® II has a diameter of 5.5 mm and allows a wide range of applications.     The New LAUDA PRO: Compact, Efficient, Powerful.

    The PRO heating circulation thermostats are designed for external applications up to 250°C. The low filling volume permits rapid heating up in the connected application. The compact construction permits space-saving installation of the thermostats. An integrated cooling coil, fitted as standard, provides cooling.

    The PRO cooling circulation thermostats are ideal for external applications where rapid temperature changes are required. The cooling output of 0.6 and 0.8 kW, combined with a very low filling volume permit these rapid temperature changes. The thermostats have a working temperature range of -40 to 200°C. All types are fitted with a pressure-suction pump. Hybrid cooling of the refrigerating machine permits cooling using ambient air or, in addition, using cooling water.

    There are two operating units available: Base or Command Touch. These can be removed from the thermostat for very high levels of flexibility. This not only permits remote control of the devices but also reduces the height of the devices. In addition, they are also equipped with a hybrid cooling system as standard. This also enables additional cooling of the refrigerating machine with water. Heating bath thermostats come equipped with a cooling coil as standard.

    LAUDA Hydro water baths made of high-quality stainless steel offer the right bath depth and opening for every application with bath volumes from 4 to 41 litres.     LAUDA Microcool has been designed as a circulation chiller line with five compact models and cooling capacities from 0.25 to 1.2 kW. The user interface with large LED display and the membrane keyboard make the devices easy to use. An RS-232 interface and alarm contact are integarated as standard. What is unusual in this price category of circulation chillers is the high-quality block pump with magnetic coupling. The magnetic coupling of pump and electric motor exclude sealing problems on the pump shaft.

    LAUDA Microcool circulation chillers are used whenever heat needs to be dissipated reliably and quickly, e.g. in laboratories for rotary evaporators, distillation systems or analytical devices.

    Excellent price-performance ratio, compact design and simple to use

    The compact MC 250 and MC 350 makes them ideal for being positioned on the benchtop. The circulation chillers are equipped with a magnetic coupling pump. This supplies a pump pressure of 0.35 bar and a maximum pump flow of 16 L/min.

    The 600 W and 1200 W cooling capacity models are floor standing instruments designed to fit underneath the lab bench. They are equipped with a pressure gauge to display the pressure and casters which can be controlled and locked. Pump pressure can be adjusted via the integrated by-pass. At 1200 W, the most powerful device is also available in a water-cooled version as the MC 1200 W.

    Integral T New Generation

    The new LAUDA Integral T process thermostats ensure efficient control of external temperature control processes in the temperature range from -30 to 150 °C. The units enable rapid temperature changes due to adapted heating and cooling capacities with small internal volumes. Due to the open hydraulic system, the unit vents quickly and without functional restrictions. This makes it ideal for temperature control processes with frequent consumer or specimen changes. A reliable, powerful submersible pump and the internal bypass for pressure limitation are standard features of the Integral T. The modular interface concept is now also implemented in the Integral T and ensures maximum networking of the user processes.

    Numerous Options, Compact Design, Easy Operation

    Variocool circulation chillers function in an operating temperature range of -20 to 40°C. Optional heaters can be added to increase the maximum temperature to 80°C. For greater pressure requirements, optional pumps are available with the VC 1200 version or higher. All models are available as water-cooled versions (W) except VC 600. The compact dimensions of the models from VC 600 to VC 2000 (W) allows them to be placed under the laboratory table.

    VC 3000 and VC 5000 offer cooling capacities of 3 and 5 kW, and are available with options such as outdoor-installation and sound absorption. VC 7000 and VC 10000 are high efficient tower design circulation chilolers are available as water cooled versions (W).     Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) captures the Brownian motion of each particle in the video. Based on the different diffusion movements of large and small particles in the surrounding liquid, the hydrodynamic diameter of the particles is determined. Furthermore, the charge state of the particle surface (zeta potential) can be measured via the movement of the particles in an applied electric field.

    Pattern parameters, such as intensity fluctuations, surface geometry and shape of the particles as well as particle concentration are documented at each recording and can be used to distinguish sub-populations.
